I know how important it is for a client to feel a connection with his or her practitioner. If you think I might be the right hypnotherapist for you, I invite you to call for a free phone consultation. I would be happy to answer all of your questions at length. How long are your sessions? An initial session is 2-hours long. Follow-up sessions are 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I suggest clients plan on 2-hour follow-up sessions, though sometimes 90 minutes or so is sufficient. Please be sure to tell me at the beginning of a session if you have any time constraints. Do you charge by the hour? No, I do not charge by the hour. I charge a flat fee per session. Please call to discuss my fee. What form of payment do you accept? I accept cash and checks made out to Susan Gold. If you would like to use a credit card to pay for your sessions, please let me know in advance. I will send you an email invoice with a link to remit payment through PayPal. Payment should be made before your scheduled appointment. I am not able to process credit cards in my office. How many sessions will I need? The number of sessions will vary depending on the number of issues you would like to work on, your desired outcomes, determination, and readiness for change. While many clients experience positive results after only one session, and some fully achieve their goals, I find that most benefit from three to six sessions per issue. Some clients choose to do long-term hypnotherapy as an alternative to traditional counseling or coaching. Do you accept insurance? In general, insurance companies do not like to cover hypnotic services; however, with advance notice, I will issue a receipt so that you may bill your insurance. I have found that some flex spending plans do reimburse for hypnotic services. If you have a flex plan, it is worth calling them to inquire. Do you offer a money-back guarantee? Because I do not have control over my clients’ level of motivation, which is essential for hypnotherapy to be successful, I do not offer a money back guarantee. What is your cancellation policy? Life is unpredictable, and I respect that you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment; however, I do require 24-hours notice.
