I know how important it is for a client to feel a connection with his or her practitioner. If you think I might be the right hypnotherapist for you, I invite you to call for a free phone consultation. I would be happy to answer all of your questions at length. How much do you charge per session? Please call or email to discuss my fees. What form of payment do you accept? I accept cash and checks made out to Susan Gold. If you would like to use a credit card to pay for your sessions, please let me know in advance. I will send you an email invoice with a link to remit payment through PayPal. Payment should be made before your scheduled appointment. I am not able to process credit cards in my office. How long are your sessions? Each session is approximately 90 minutes—more or less depending on the techniques that I feel will be most effective. Please allow up to 2 hours for the first session. (I charge by the session, not by the hour, so this 2-hour session will not cost you more.) How many sessions do I need? The number of sessions will vary depending on the number of issues you would like to work on, your desired outcomes, determination, and readiness for change. While many clients experience positive results after only one session, and some fully achieve their goals, I find that most benefit from three to six sessions per issue. Some clients choose to do long-term hypnotherapy as an alternative to traditional counseling or coaching. Do you accept insurance? In general, insurance companies do not like to cover hypnotic services; however, with advance notice, I will issue a receipt so that you may bill your insurance. Do you offer a money-back guarantee? Because I do not have control over my clients’ level of motivation, which is essential for hypnotherapy to be successful, I do not offer a money back guarantee. What is your cancellation policy? Life is unpredictable, and I respect that you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment; however, I do require 24-hours notice.
